"One of the problems with the corporate state is that executives are more impressed with seeing a man riding in a car driven by a chauffer than with seeing a man build a car."

Political Endorsements
Important Notice
These endorsement are a free speech expression of my opinion and do not constitute financial support, hence I am not legally obligated under Arizona law to register as a political action committee. I will respond to any hollow threats of prosecution for failure to register with a short "Go &^@% yourself", so don't bother.
A vote for the lesser of two evils is a vote for evil nevertheless.
Even though there's no way that this election isn't going to end in disaster, I'm currently endorsing the following candidates for President in 2008:
- Cynthia McKinney (G)[Endorsement pending publication of Disability platform]
- Kent Mesplay (G) [Endorsement pending publication of Disability platform]
- Ralph Nader (I) [if he decides to run]
Though it's not the only reason, I will not endorse the other Presidential candidates besides Mr. Kucinich because they have been willing to participate in debates in which Mr. Kucinich has been excluded and this has severely curtailed debate on the most important issues such as the Iraq War.
*Note: Dennis Kucinich has endorsed Barack Obama in the Iowa primaries which has shaken my confidence in Mr. Kucinich. I cannot endorse Mr. Obama because he has made provocative comments indicating clearly that he would support military attacks against Iran even though there has been no proof that such attacks would be justified or legal under international law. Like all leading Democrat Presidential candidates (and most Republicans for that matter), Mr. Obama is surrounding himself with advisors who support the policy of murdering civilian populations.
U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords
There are multiple reasons why I cannot support Rep. Gabrielle Giffords at this time :
- Rep. Giffords continues to vote for funding for the Bush Wars
- Rep. Giffords is supporting a gradual privatization of Social Security/Medicare by responding to constituents' requests to fix Medicare with suggestions that they buy private insurance instead.
- Rep. Giffords opposes accountability by refusing to support impeachment of Dick Cheney for high crimes and misdemeanors (eg. lying to Congress and misleading the nation into a war of aggression in violation of international law and normal standards of behavior).
- Rep. Giffords took great pride in helping to change tax rules to save people earning $100,000/year more than $4,000 in taxes, yet she couldn't help me get Medicare to cover a very important test that I need because it would require a change in the rules. Giffords doesn't like the working class, especially when they become disabled.
The G.W. Bush Legacy
The Presidency of George W. Bush should be remembered for its many accomplishments including:
- A neverending war in Iraq
- Acceptance of torture (such as waterboarding) as legal during interrogations
- More international hatred and distrust of the United States
- Expansion of terrorist organizations such as al-Qaida
- Environmental destruction including the refusal to address global warming
- A new cold war economy based on fear of foreigners
- Increased spending for war and border security with massive cuts in spending for Medicare
- Huge tax cuts for the most wealthy followed by deficit spending, trade deficits, personal debt, and rising unemployment
- The end of habeas corpus
- Integration of all law enforcement and emergency services into an über-Schutzstaffel
- A record number of signing statements placing the President above the law as a king
- The nullification of the Posse Comitatus Act enabling the President to deploy U.S. military forces within the United States to suppress popular dissent (insurgency), should the need arise
- Shift from Medicare to dependance on a complex web of privately purchased insurance plans for those who can afford them
- The beginning of ethnic cleansing against Latinos
- Establishment of a pseudo-Christian religion as the religion of the state
- Replacement of soldiers with killer robots
- Domestic spying without due process or reasonable cause
- The end of privacy
- The nullification of the Constitution signalling the end of the Republic
- The establishment of the United States as police for the world
- The establishment of the United States as the only nation with the right to possess WMDs
